Assumptions
I hate when people make assumptions that they know somebody really well, and even more so when they insert this “fact” and use it as leverage. I don’t know if this makes any sense, but for example, there’s N, my best friend who I come to for advice, and there is C, my boyfriend. N and C used to be great friends, but that fell apart. She happens to be the only person I trust enough to confide in and I tell her about my relationship qualms and being a good friend, she reassures me but then she just loves to add the fact that she knows him really well. And she says it condescendingly, like I know him better then you, so trust me. But she doesn’t. They’re not even friends anymore.
It frustrates me to no end because a) she claims to be a good reader of people when she underestimates me continuously, b) this is my boyfriend, I know him just as well and even more so, c) it’s bullshit to tell me that you know him really well to ‘reassure’ me. We got into an argument about it and she sort of just backpedaled out of it, like she didn’t commit the accused crimes and then the next day, went on to do the same.
She’s hugely hypocritical in this “reading people easily and seeing through them” claim because she, herself is often easy to read and see through. But I’m not going to make judgements or assumptions to another person because she fits under stereotypes at times. I’m not going to say I know her better then another person because I simply, might not. I’m not going to say I’m 99% person right in reading her because I’m not. I’m not going to pretend like I know all there is to know about her because I don’t. I’m not going to act like my lies are the single truth.
… I do love N though. I’m just kind of fed up with this I’m superior to you notion. Especially with my boyfriend.
Fixed
CSS4! HTML5! Fixed sidebars! Large font! Lucinda Grande! Hover effects! Text-shadow! Image-free! Pink, blue, purple, and grey!
In this layout I included some of my favorite trends using CSS4. I got a little crazy with webkit properties because not having to break out Photoshop or Javascript to add a little flourish to my navigation is really easy and unfussy. And yeah, check out that hover. I spent most of my time editing the in-out transitions and I really hope you have a browser that supports CSS4 (erm, I’ve yet to add the moz properties, so Mozilla users, sit tight).
I fiddled with PHP to integrate Asides and I’m surprised my alternative to Matt Mullenweg’s method didn’t break my site. I used much simpler code and only had to tweak my css a bit to hide the titles and meta data.

Kristen Stewart
06/22/10I like her as a person/celebrity and I’d probably be her friend if I knew her in real life, but as an actress, she plays the same character in every one of her roles. Herself. I don’t know if she has talent. I’ve only seen her nervous habits and raised voice and her fumbly hands on screen and this is exactly who she is in interviews and award shows. I think she could have talent, but she needs to let go of reality and play a character.
